Where is Slide Out Measured to Pick Out Slide Topper
Question:
When I measure the slide, so I measure the outside of the slide when it is closed or do I open the slide and measure the actual slide from front to back?

You actually want to measure the outsides of the flange that runs around the outside of the slide out. Typically this is about 2-1/2 inches wider than the slide out on both sides. If the width you measured is between 134" to 139-3/4" the slide topper part # LCV000168328 that you referenced will fit and work well.
