Trailer Weight Compatible with 2016 Santa Fe 4 Cylinder

Question:

2016 Santa Fe 4 Cyl. Question If i have a tow package installed on this vehicle can i pull a Jayco Trailer that weighs in at about 2900Lbs. Jay Flight SLX 175RD?

Your 2016 Santa Fe 4 Cylinder based on my research has a maximum towing capacity of 2,000 lbs. The 6 cylinder has a max capacity of 5,000 lbs when equipped with the tow package. The Jayco Jay Flight SLX 175RD at 2,900 lbs is not going to be compatible with the 4 cylinder model but will be compatible with a 6 cylinder model when you add the brake controller using kit # ETBC7 to upgrade to a 7-way trailer connection and add a brake controller like # 90195.
