Troubleshooting BowDown Fitment on Aero-Style Crossbars on 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe

hello.i have 2014 SANTA FE with Brightlines brand Aero-dynamic in shape crossbars installed that i bought from amazon.they are 2 ½ in W x ¾ in H built to OEM specs.i tried to install my yakima bowdown rack but wont fit at all.looks like bowdown racks are for round or square crossbars.do you think this sportsrack will fit my crossbars?.would you also give me other lists of kayak racks that can fit my crossbars?thanku.so much..

The Yakima BowDown Folding J-Style Kayak Carrier actually fit round, square, and aero-style roof racks. The Yakima JetStream bars measure 3-1/8" wide x 1" tall as well so I'm kind of surprised to hear that it won't fit on the 2-1/2" wide x 3/4" tall crossbars you installed on your 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe.

Yakima does a great job at getting their products to fit and their mounting brackets are some of the best out there so if you can't get the BowDown to fit I would be surprised if the SportRack Kayak Carrier # SR5513 fit instead. Would you be able to send me a picture of the BowDown on your roof rack so I can get a visual for what is going on?

The only other option that might fit better is the JayLow # Y04073 which is the upgraded version of the BowDown. The JayLow has mounting feet that are already installed and they clamp around the bar. These are also made to work with round, square, and aero-style bars. If you can send me pictures it will really help me to see what is going on. I have attached review videos of all 3 products for you to check out.
