Does Remote Need to be Changed When Fuse is Blown to Activate Functions on 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
2018 Forest River Wildwood Heritage Ultra Lite travel trailer. Am having electrical problems with remote control for awning, slide out, jacks. It blows the fuse when I use the remote control but everything works fine when I use the control panel inside the trailer. Do you suspect the remote is bad or wiring inside trailer.

If you are having a fuse blow when you use a remote, like part # LC292614, for your 2018 Forest River Wildwood Heritage Ultra Lite then that is an indication that you need to check the wiring for the remote. If something were not activating then the remote could be the culprit but it wouldn't be able to cause a fuse to blow.
Check the wiring from the receiver for the remote and make sure everything has a solid connection and there aren't any places with exposed wiring or a bad ground. You may need to take it to a shop or the dealer if you are not sure where this wiring is or aren't comfortable troubleshooting it.
