I do have a similar system for you but the Reese Elite Series Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # RP30158-52 will not fit your 2006 Dodge Ram as it is designed for a 2010 - 2012 Dodge Ram. They do not make a Reese Elite Series Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for a 2006 Dodge Ram but we do have the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # BWGNRK1313 or part # BWGNRK1308 for Mega Cab which is a better option. This system can be used to tow a 5th wheel trailer as well if you were to add the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # BWRVK3500-5W if you have an 8' long bed or part # BWRVK3400-5W if you have a 6-1/2' long bed.

The B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck is a custom fit so no drilling into the frame is required. It then allows for what many consider to be the best 5th wheel hitch on the market in the B&W Companion. The B&W Companion has 1" thick dual locking jaws which do a phenomenal job of securing the kingpin and reducing chucking. It then has a two pin head removal system which will allow you to remove the head and base separately therefore making removing and installing the hitch by yourself manageable with only one person.
