Troubleshooting RV Furnace that Shuts Off After Installing New Jumper Hose Assembly

Question:

I connect a 100lb propane tank to model 6020 Propane Auto Changeover Two-Stage Regulator thru pigtail and flexible hose to tank with PLO adapter photo attached for my RV. On initial install, I ran the furnace for about 5 minutes with no problems. About 1 day later, needed heat and when furnace came on it short cycled and shutdown the furnace. I checked connections, restarted thermostat and it appeared to work fine. The next night, I could hear the pilot light come on, then go off, then come back on and it continued in this cycle. I shut it down and turned on the gas stove. The flame looked good so I restarted the furnace and it worked again. Couple of days later went thru the pilot light igniting and going out again so this time I left it on and turned on the gas stove. As the furnace tried to light, the stove flame would go almost completely down, then rise up. I turned everything off, disconnected my jumper hose and connected to my 30lb tank with no more problems. This is the first time I have used this tank Just bought it and had it filled and I just replaced the POL adapter for hose for the tank and noticed the hole on the tip is .032 in diameter where the previous one I had was almost the width of the adapter. Someone also told me that the tank maybe overfilled because I when I disconnected it at 100am I about froze my fingers off from the propane coming out of the jumper line and was a white mist...was told it should have only been vapor. But after more research this tank should have OPD on it, not at RV to check so that shouldnt be the case. My question: why when hooked up normal it works and when I hook up 10 ft jumper, it is intermittent...could the diameter of the hole on the POL adapter be getting frozen after use and only allowing a limited amount of vapor thru the next time it comes on? Should I replace?

Since you know that when the extra jumper line isn't used the propane system works fine you have eliminated the problem to being it. To me it sounds like it's freezing like you mentioned. Since the hole is so tiny on the jumper that is almost guaranteed to be the issue. We have a 10 foot soft nose POL to 1/4 inch NPT part # 100202 that is probably what you need, but you didn't mention what the other fitting you need is.
