How To Use a RBW Lil Rocker 5th Wheel Hitch on a 2019 Ford F-250
Question:
I recently purchased a new 2019 Ford F250. I need to install my 5th wheel hitch from my 2005 ford F250 to the new. The old F250 had a Reese universal rail mount system. Is there a bracket system that mounts my RBW Lil Rocker hitch to my 2019 Ford F250?

Expert Reply:
In order to use the RBW Lil Rocker 5th Wheel Hitch on your 2019 Ford F-250, I recommend using the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails part # RP50074-58 if your truck DID NOT come with the factory puck system in the bed or the Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter for Standard 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # RP30156 if your truck DID come with the factory puck system in the bed.
The Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails will give you the same industry standard base rails that you had before and the frame brackets are a custom fit for your F-250 so no drilling is required at all. The Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter for Standard 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches will fit into the factory puck system and then allow you to place your RBW Lil Rocker 5th Wheel Hitch on top. I have attached an install video of each option for you.
Please note that if your new F-250 has a 6-1/2' bed then you will need to use a sliding 5th wheel hitch or rotating pin box in order to allow for clearance between the cab of the vehicle and loft of the trailer.
