Can Trailer Wiring and Tow Bar Wiring be Installed at Same Time on 2011 Honda CR-V
Question:
good morning i have a 2011 honda crv which have installed hm-56300 wiring also have installed c-55106 a year ago . now i try to hook up towed vehicle to motorhome none of lites work on towed vehicle is the c-55106 causing my problem. checked ground on towed vehicle is ok. checked signal from motorhome is ok desprate for help thank you

The trailer wiring harness you have installed with the Hopkins tow bar wiring harness part # HM56300 that you referenced is your issue. If you want the # HM56300 to be functional you'll need to remove the trailer wiring harness.
Another option would be to leave the trailer wiring installed and use a temporary wiring kit for flat towing wiring like the part # C6304 which is magnetic and attaches to the top of the vehicle.
