Most Efficient Transmission Cooler Recommendation for 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
Hello I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the 5.3 L V8. I’m going to be driving around the country hauling around a RV. And I want the biggest transmission cooler I can get for that truck. I don’t mind doing slight modifications to make this achievable. I am hoping that with The right cooler and a deep dish transmission pan, I will have enough cooling power

The most efficient style of transmission cooler is the stacked plate style like the part # D54012 that you referenced. So for the largest one in this style you'd want the # D54010 which measures 13W x 13-7/8T x 2D Inch and you'd have an extremely efficient cooler.
To complete the installation you will want two of the barb hose fittings, part # D98202, replacement rubber hose # D15799, hose clamps # D13008 and insta-dapt radiator adapter # D13004. The mounting kit is # D50020.
