Can Round Spring Bars on Pro Series Weight Distribution be Replaced with Higher Rated Bars
Question:
I have a 15k lb pro series with 800 lb bars. My new trailer will have just under a 1 k tongue weight and 10k trailer weight. Do I need to upgrade my bars to 1200 lbs and can I do that with my current wd hitch. I have mdl# 63970, 15k lbs.

The spring bars for your Pro Series Round Bar Weight Distribution System are interchangeable and I definitely recommend upgrading your 800 pound bars to match the heavier tongue weight of your new trailer.
For this the Replacement Spring Bar # 58338, which has a tongue weight capacity of 1,200 pounds, will work perfectly. This will upgrade your entire system to fit the new trailer so that it can work to redistribute the tongue weight over the axles of your truck and trailer.
Just note that this comes with just 1 spring bar so you will need to order a quantity of 2 to replace both of the bars on your system.
