Finding Stoplight Switch Circuit for Installing Brake Controller in a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee

any idea of the color of the cold side brake switch on a 2008 grand cherokee laredo?

It SHOULD be a purple and brown wire. But I recommend testing all of the wires that run to the stoplight switch of your 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee till you find the one that has 12 volts only when the brakes are applied. If you need a circuit tester you'd want the part # PTW2993.
