Recommended Towing Mirror to Obtain Better View with Class C Motorhome

Question:

I have a Class-C motorhome on an ‘88 Ford Econoline chassis. The visibility is poor when changing lanes, as the sides of the coach extend out a bit more than the cab. Would a clip-on towing mirror be a good solution for better visibility? Or, are there other more practical options?

Adding a clip-on towing mirror to your motorhome is a great solution for creating a better view during travel. These will give you an extended view from the cab so that you can see the around coach to better prevent nearby cars from sneaking up on you when trying to change lanes.

I specifically recommend taking a look at the K-Source Universal Clip-On Mirrors # KS3891-2 (or part # KS3891 for just 1 mirror). These are designed to clip onto the factory mirror housing and its ratcheting system allows for a really snug fit to cut down on any vibration when you're on the road. They will fit just about any factory mirror that measures between 4-1/2 inches and 11-1/2 inches in height so I do just recommend taking a quick measurement of your existing mirror.

I have attached a short video demonstration on this set that you can check out as well.
