Can Rear Door Open on 2007 Toyota Matrix With Swagman XC 2 Bike Carrier # S64650 Installed

im wondering if I will be able to open the back door of m Toyota Matrix with the rack on and folded down as far as it will go?

With the Swagman XC 2 Bike Carrier, part # S64650, installed on your 2007 Toyota Matrix and the two outer arms in the down position, the center post can be lowered also and allow your rear door to open, but it cannot be used in that position while the vehicle is moving since the center post can not be locked in the down position.
I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Swagman bike rack and a link to a video review of the XC 2 bike carrier that will show how the center post will fold down.
