Question:
Runs opposite of switch. Goes down when up and up when switch pressed down. Seems like I could just swap leads from motor???

If your Bulldog Powered Trailer Jack like part # BD500199 is operating in reverse (up is down and down is up) then most likely it is indeed just a matter of switching the wire leads coming from the switch. This should resolve the issue.
If this does not fix the problem then you will want to inspect the wiring itself for any frayed areas that might be shorting out and replace them as needed. Please
