Recommended Air Bags for a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 With 5th Wheel Hitch

Question:

I have a 5th wheel that I tow looking for some help on what air helper springs to get. I have pullrite 2700 hitch with the rails mounted in the bed which the brackets are attached to the frame. What air helpers springs can i install on my 2015 GMC Sierra 4X4 Crew Cab. Thanks

I took a look at the Pullrite Industry Standard Rail Custom Mounting Kit 2730 that you have on your 2015 GMC Sierra 1500. The frame brackets for this kit install on the outside of the frame rails which means the best fit airbag kit we have for you is the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2430. The reason for this is because the upper airbag brackets install on the bottom and inside of the frame rail which means there will be no interference with the Pullrite Industry Standard Rail Custom Mounting Kit. I looked at all of the other airbag kits for your vehicle and it looks like the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs will be your best option.

In order to take full control of your airbags you will want to install an air compressor system as this will allow you to make adjustments to your support/comfort settings on the go. Although this is not required, I recommend you take a look at the Air Command F3 Compressor System w/ Wireless Remote part # F2581. The reason I recommend this kit is because it has a wireless controller which means you don't have to route any airlines in the cab which can be a hassle.
