Best Magnaflow Muffler for 1978 Ford F-150 with True Dual Exhaust
Question:
Best Magnaflow muffler for my truck I have a 1978 Ford F-150 with a true dual exhaust. I have a 600 cfm Holley carb and aluminum intake. I was wondering which muffler would be the best fit for my truck? Im looking for a deep rumble during acceleration but quiet enough to carry on a conversation at an idle. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you have the 3 inch pipes, the MagnaFlow Stainless Steel, Straight-Through Universal Muffler # MF12867 will be a great option for the rumble and performance that won't be too loud for a conversation.
Without knowing your pipe diameter, here are some other options:
# MF14161 for 3-1/2 inch pipes
# MF14163 for 4 inch pipes
These muffler options require welding for installation but they are designed to curb the decibel level while giving you a smooth deep tone that is still louder than a standard muffler.
