Universal Fifth Wheel Hitch Rail Kit Recommendation for 2005 Ford F-250 Short Bed

Hi I have a 2005 Ford F250 Super duty short bed and I have a Curt Q20 5th wheel slider hitch. I need a universal install kit for the hitch due to the airlift air bags that I have currently on the truck. What do you guys recommend?

For your 2005 Ford F-250 short bed the Reese Universal Kit part # RP30035 is a confirmed fit and would work well for you. It installs using L-brackets which allows enough clearance for the Air Lift kit you have.

Since you have a short bed truck you'll need a slider hitch to allow you to make tight turns without interference. For that we have the Reese # RP30075 which I recommend because it has a jaw design that holds the king pin tightly and uses a round tube slider which will operate a bit smoother.
