If you are referring to the Thule ProRide XT Roof Bike Rack part # TH598004 or the Thule ProRide Roof Bike Rack part TH598003 then it will come with everything that you will need to use it on your 2005 Subaru with the factory roof rack. The ProRide and ProRide XT comes with both clamp-on and channel mount attachments. For your factory roof rack you will want to use the clamp-on style which wrap around the crossbar. The factory Subaru crossbars are of an aero shape and both ProRides will fit aero crossbars just fine so you will not have any issues.

The other thing I recommend doing beforehand is verifying your crossbar spread. In order to do this you will need to measure from the center of the front crossbar to the center of the rear crossbar. So long as this measurement is between 18" - 36" you are good to go without any additional parts.
