Mounting Hardware for a 10 Year Old Thule Cargo Box for a 2007 Subaru Outback with Aero Crossbars

Question:

Hi. Ive been given an older ~10 years? Thule car top cargo pod/carrier and need to mount it to my 2007 Subaru Outback factory rack with aero crossbars. I dont have the mounting clips. Can you tell me which clips I should buy to mount the carrier to the rack? I couldnt find a model number on the pod but it has xport stickers all over it. Thanks.

I spoke with my contact at Thule and she stated that for your older Thule cargo box you would need to use the QM3 Hardware, # TH04997. In order to determine if this hardware will fit around the crossbars on your 2007 Subaru Outback, you will need to measure how wide the bars are. The QM3 hardware will fit bars up to 3-5/8 inches wide.
