Adapter Needed for Vehicle with 4-Way to Install Curt Echo Brake Controller
Question:
vehicle: 2018 Santa Fe Ltd I assume that I will need an ETBC7 and that instead of running the 12v hot to a controller, I run it straight to Pin 4 on the connector via the fuse. Do I leave Pin 2 EBO disconnected?

Instead of the # ETBC7 you'd want the part # ETBC7L since you only need to make one connection on the included 7-way adapter. You'd need to run the wire up to the positive battery post through the circuit breaker that is included. The Echo does not require any connection to be present on the brake output circuit of the 7-way as it takes care of everything related to that circuit.
