Is Same Plug-In Harness Used for Tekonsha Voyager and Prodigy P3 on 2000 Ford F-53
Question:
I have an older Tekonsha 9030 in my 2000 Ford F53 motor home, and want to upgrade to the P3, will I be able to plug in the new P3 into the current wiring harness?

Yes, you will be able to use the exact Plug-In Harness # 3035-P that you're currently using for your Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller to install the new Prodigy P3 # 90195 on your 2000 Ford F-53. Replacing the controller will just be a matter of unplugging the Voyager and plugging in the P3.
The Prodigy P3 is an excellent choice for an upgrade and is really one of the best units on the market. One of the biggest differences you will notice and benefit from right away is its large display screen that provides diagnostic messages (instead of hard-to-decipher codes) and settings that allow you to easily see what's going on or make any changes to your braking. Its 3 boost levels allow you to adjust initial braking power and the 5 storable settings let you customize it for multiple trailers (if applicable) or even different driver preferences.
I have attached a short video review on the Prodigy P3 that you can also check out.
