Towing Mirrors for 1997 Ford F-250HD
Question:
my 1997 hd f250. has aftermarket mirror extension. you loosen thumb wheel slide out . it is a plastic block and has flat bar. my has broke would like to replaced . unable to find kit or who made them. 20 year ago the where in all parts stores. thanks for help .

We offer several slip-on towing mirror kits for your 1997 Ford F-250HD that you can see on the page I linked for you but none of these CIPA and Longview mirrors has the same design as yours old aftermarket mirrors. Note that these slip-on mirrors fit only specific versions of the OEM mirrors and this is noted in the Tech Tips.
If you could find a brand name and/or part number on your mirrors it might be possible to find parts but honestly I would not hold much hope for that given the age of the mirrors. You're probably going to need to replace them.
We do also offer replacement mirrors, different from the slip-on extensions, that are shown on the other linked page, such as CIPA manual black mirrors # CM45392 and # CM45292.
