Separating Combined Tail Light Wiring on 2009 Chrysler Town and Country
Question:
Can I separate combined circuit to work them independently from each other with diodes only? Also do I need extra wire from somewhere to work one of the separated light? Maybe that extra wire can be wired from 3rd brake light on top of the car? I was trying to use 2 to 3 wire converter, but that did not worked for me. Ic I can do with diodes only, will be able to get wiring diagram for that? Thanks

You are correct that you can use a 2-to-3 converter, the Curt # C56196, to separate the combined circuits on your 2009 Chrysler Town and Country so your brake lights and turn signals will operate independently of one another.
In regards to Diodes # 48955, you should use them to prevent backfeeding. I have added links to video reviews of the converter and diodes for you to check out as well.
