Does 2015 Toyota Tundra Need Weight Distribution Towing 2016 R-Pod 179
Question:
I have a 2015 Tundra Double Cab 4x4 with 5.7L V8 and a 2016 RPod 179 that comes in loaded at around 3200 lbs. I see so many opinions for towing and I am just curious is Weight distribution truly needed? I have towed it with a 2015 F150 with 3.5L eco boost without a weight distribution hitch without issue. But now the Tundra will be the main tow vehicle. Do I need one?

I wouldn't think so to be perfectly honest, but weight distribution will give you a better towing experience, maybe not a huge difference but it will make an improvement. I looked up the towing capacity of your truck and it looks to have a capacity of around 10,000 lbs which means towing a 3,200 lb trailer loaded would not be an issue at all.
The benefits you'll gain though will be better braking and handling especially in an emergency situation. If I were you I'd tow the trailer without a system and see how you like it. Most likely you'll say "I can't even feel the thing back there" which in that case I'd just leave it as-is.
A Reese WD system part # RP66540 would work great though if you decide to go with it anyway. This has a tongue weight range of 200-600 lbs.
