Troubleshooting Turn Signal Circuit of 7-Way Not Functioning on GMC Sierra
Question:
I have a 2012 GMC Sierra crew cab and the left side trailer light is not working. I bought a new LED light strip for the back and a new adapter for 7 pin to 4 pin plug. Still not working. Hooked up a trailer with 7 pin plug and still no left side light or blinker. Any suggestions?

First thing I'd recommend trying is cleaning all of the pins on your 7-way. This problem is almost always caused by corrosion or dirt build up on the pins of the connector which prevents the circuit from functioning. Next thing you can try is checking the fuses under the hood of the truck.
