You are on the right track with what you'll need to tow a fifth wheel trailer with your 2015 Ford F-250 short bed. Since your truck has the short bed you do need a slider hitch like what comes with the Pro Series Slider Hitch and Universal Rail Kit part # PS30129. Now this setup has been confirmed as a fit for your truck so it will work, but a couple things you might want to be aware of are the rail kit that comes with this is going to be somewhat difficult to install and will require frame drilling since it's a universal kit and the hitch is going be somewhat noisy too since the jaw system does not hold the trailer's king pin tightly. This may not be a big deal for you but I figured I'd give you different options to consider.
A custom install rail kit will be much easier to install and won't require any frame drilling. For that we have the Reese kit part # RP50026-58 which is a confirmed fit for your truck. Then for a hitch the Reese part # RP30051 uses a jaw design that will be much tighter to the king pin. I attached a review video for the hitch for you to check out as well.
For a 7-way to install in the bed of your truck to make connecting your trailer lights easier you would want the part # 41157. Most 7-ways will be at the rear of the truck near the bumper which doesn't work will with fifth wheel hitches. This kit installs in line with the 7-way at the rear of your truck and gives you a second one to install in the bed.
