The B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs # BWGNRK1108 is an excellent gooseneck hitch and underbody rail kit for your 6-3/4 foot bed on your 2006 Ford Super Duty.

There are adapters for 5th wheel hitch use with that underbed system, but there is not an adapter that can be used with an autosliding hitch. The adapters like # DM6140 will allow you to use a manual sliding hitch but not an autosliding hitch because the movement will be too great for the gooseneck to safely hold. You can however us a manual slider like # RP30051 with this adapter.

Your alternative options are to use a manual sliding hitch like the B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # BWRVK3400 which is designed specifically for that underbed gooseneck system, or replace the underbed system. If you choose to replace the underbed system, you can use the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP30073 to get the 4 pucks and then you can use a manual slider like # RP30144 or an autoslider like # DM8550038 that will fit in those pucks perfectly. If you still need a gooseneck hitch then you can use # RP30845.

Whatever option you choose, you may want to add a second 7-way to the bed of your truck using # 41157.
