Is There Advantage to Going with Trailer Axle with More than Needed Weight Capacity

I HAVE 19 FT BOAT WITH THE TRAILER SISE OF 22 FT, BUT IM NOT SURE IF IT WOULD BE BETTER TO BUY A BIGGER AXEL THAN A 3500LB SINCE IM NOT SURE THE WEIGHT OF THE TRAILER AND BOAT FULLY LOADED, BUT MY QUESTION IS WILL A STRONGER AXEL HELP WITH THE LONG RIDES THAT i DO , OR IT DOSENT MATTER

As long as the axle has the needed capacity for the trailer there isn't an advantage to going with a heavier duty axle than needed. It's definitely better to have more axle capacity than needed, but all that really means is that the axle is not going to be the weakest link in the setup.

I also attached a link to a page with all of the axles we carry. The two dimensions in the picture I attached too are what you need to pick out a replacement. Basically you need to know the spring seat to spring seat dimension as well as the hub face to hub face dimension.
