Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Spring Recommendation for a 1991 GMC C1500
Question:
Can this air spring be used on a 1991 GMC C1500 pickup truck? Is there a required clearance above axle for the installation? Any clearance requirements between wheel and frame?

Expert Reply:
Yes, these Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2025 are a confirmed fit for your 1991 GMC C1500 truck. As long as your vehicle has the stock height without a lift kit you will not need to worry about any clearance requirements.
If you do have a lift kit you should check out the link I attached that shows the different lift kit spacers we offer that you could install on your vehicle, you will want to pick out the kit that is for the same size lift kit you have on your vehicle.
