Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 Towing 5th Wheel
Question:
I have a 2014 crew cab 1500 Silverado. I added air springs to the back to tow a bumper pull camper. However I have bought a fifth wheel trailer and looking to install the hitch. Im concerned about the bracket on the air springs interfering with the kit. Will this work? Pictures attached Thanks

Most likely would have a hard time getting fifth wheel rails to fit with the air bags you sent in a picture of. I don't recognize the brand of the bags as they don't match what we carry but most likely you'd have to remove the kit to install fifth wheel rails. The RoadActive Suspension Kit part # RAS4611 would be a great solution to replace the air bag kit for suspension enhancement that will perform well and not prevent fifth wheel rails from installing. I attached an install video for this kit as well.
The Reese custom install kit part # RP50064-58 will be a great solution for rails too. This kit is custom fit too which means that it won't require any drilling to install when compared to a universal kit. I attached an install video for this as well.
If your truck has a long bed you can use a stationary hitch like the Reese # RP30047. If you have a short bed you'll need a slider hitch to give you the clearance to make sharp turns. For that we have the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ S20 Slider # C95DR.
