Carrier Recommendation for Rear of 5th Wheel for Carrying Scooter
Question:
Can this be used on a Fifth wheel camper? What would you recommend to haul a 400 lb scooter? I have a 2inch receiver.

Expert Reply:
The Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier part # CC-100 is approved for use behind an RV like what you have but the Curt you mentioned would not be rated for the rougher ride quality there. This also has a 500 lb capacity.
The Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches part # UF48-979033 is not approved for use behind a fifth-wheel. We do not offer a motorcycle carrier that will work behind a 5th wheel. The extra jolts and angle is just too much and parts will fail under the force.
For a hitch lock that also takes out the movement of the carrier in the hitch you then would want the part # 63232.
