Recommended Timbren Axle-Less Suspension for 3,100 lb Off-Road Trailer

Would this be good for a 2000# trailer 3100# Max weight. Do I need a heavier duty axle to account for hitting bumps/off roading?

If your trailer has a GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) of 3,100 lbs then you definitely want to go with 3,500 lb axles like the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System # A35RS545E you referenced.
This doesn't really have to do as much with accounting for bumps as it does with just the general weight of your trailer. As long as your suspension components are rated for at least the GVWR of your trailer then you are good to go. The manufacturers keep things in mind like bumps when they are testing and rating their suspension components.
With that being said, if you plan on doing some off-roading with your trailer then that is a little bit of a different animal and I recommend going with the Off-Road Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR35HDS01 as it is a bit beefier to handle the rough ride that off-road trailers experience. This doesn't come with the brakes and hub/drums but you can easily add those with the Brake Kit # AKEBRK-7-SA and 2 of the Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K. Please note that this uses a larger size hub/drum and the bolt pattern 6 on 5-1/2" as opposed to the 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern of the part that you referenced.
