Recommended Weight Distribution System Without Friction Sway Bar to Allow Backing Up

The description states that this is not compatible with backing up. Why is that? Is there a comparable system that is?

The Pro Series Weight Distribution System # 49570 is compatible with backing up at any angle unless you add the friction sway bar # 83660. There is an easy disconnection pin to allow you to easily back up with the rest of the system still installed, but it could cause damage if you didn't disconnect that sway bar and backed up at any angle.

For a system that is rated similar and will allow backing up without any changes required to the system, I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # . This system has a larger total tongue weight range between 800 and 1200 lbs. The total tongue weight is the loaded tongue weight of the trailer along with any cargo weight behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. This system comes with the hitch ball and is ready to install. It will allow you to back up and will better help to control sway than a friction bar system.
