Will the K-Source Extendable Towing Mirrors # KS62075-76G Tilt on 2005 GMC Sierra

Question:

Hello i have a 2005 gmc 2500hd diesel, and i am looking at replacing the OEM mirrors with this brand but i want to make sure that they do not tilt in at the top i have heard stories of aftermarket tow mirrors tilting in and people having to shim them to get them to fit and look right which in turns leaves a gap allowing water to get behind everything. My question is do they tilt in and am i going to have to shim them?

I have not heard of any issues with regards to the top of the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors # KS62075-76G tilting in when installed on your 2005 GMC Sierra. I also reached out to my contact at K-Source to see if this is something they have heard from customers and he said they have not had any feedback at all with this issue.

We have actually installed these particular mirrors on the 2007 model Sierra and we did not have any problem with the them fitting correctly. I have attached this install video along with a picture of the mirror installed that you can check out as well.
