Dual Hitch Extender to Use with a Tow Dolly

Question:

Want a dual hitch to work with a tow dolly

The dual hitch extender that I recommend going with is the Malone # MPG544 because it gives you two 2" receivers with one of them sitting about 7-1/2" above the other one. This is compatible with a tow dolly but it has a max weight capacity of 4,000 lbs and max tongue weight of 400 lbs. Since any dual hitch receiver will act as an extender it will also reduce the weight ratings of your trailer hitch by 50% as well.

As long as the reduced weight rating of your trailer hitch is able to handle weight of the tow dolly and accessories, and this same weight doesn't exceed the weight rating of the extender then you are good to go!

Attached is a review video of the Malone as well as a link to all of our dual hitch adapters. Please note that some of them are only rated to be used for flat towing setups and cannot be used for towing a trailer or a tow dolly. This is indicated on the product pages itself.
