What does the 6 over 5.5 mean? We have a 6 bolt 205 75r15 tire and wheel.

The 6 on 5-1/2 inch is the bolt pattern of the wheel on the Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Tire w 15" White Spoke Wheel # AM32680. Since your trailer has a 6 lug wheel, and this is the only standard 6 lug trailer wheel bolt pattern, this tire and wheel combo would fit your trailer and work well. The 6 is the number of lugs and then 5.5 inches is the distance between them across the center of the wheel.
