If Ford F-150 Has 11,300 lb Towing Capacity Can it Tow 9,600 lb Fifth Wheel Trailer
Question:
I just had a Ford confirm that I can tow 11300 lbs. They did not say if that was fifth wheel or by the tow hitch. I found a nice fifth wheel ultra light at 9600 lbs. Is this safe to tow on my F150?

Expert Reply:
Yes, if your truck was confirmed as having a towing capacity of 11,300 lbs then it could easily tow a 9,600 lb trailer like you mentioned. If you can get me the year and bed length of your truck I can help you pick out the best hitch and rail kit option for your needs.
