Help Finding Wheel Connector Needed to Install T-One Connector # TK22113 2017 Dodge Durango
Question:
I have a 2017 Dodge Durango. The instructions say to connect the 12g blue wire to the green wire from the harness behind the passenger front wheel. I located the only harness at that location but it has TWO light green wiresalso a 3rd green with yellow stripe. The harness has 14 wires and the wires are a lot smaller compared to the 12gauge blue wire. maybe 22 and 24 gauge. First problem is that there are 2 green wires. The 2nd issue is that I find it weird that you would need the 12g blue wire to connect to a wire that is as small as 22-24guage. There are photos you have here of the harness does not look like my harness. Where do I connect? Instructions also say to use a butt connector? using a butt connector means the green wire should be a loose wire?? Do I cut it? The supplied butt connectors are way too big for the small green wire. I am able to follow the rest of the instructions except this step

I forwarded this to my contact at Tekonsha and sent them the picture you sent us and their response was that it didn't look like you have the correct connector currently. I attached the picture they asked me to send you that shows the correct connector. Here's what he sent me:
I’ve include the picture we have of the vehicle connector we seen and we’re showing in the installation instructions. Appears the customer is not finding the same connector. I would recommend customer look at the picture provided and pull back felt liner in this area to find same connector. I do not believe Dodge has any variations in connectors.
Regarding the vehicle green wire to our harness blue wire. Customer will cut the vehicle green wire, near the vehicle connector, and use the butt connector to connect the blue wire in our harness. The butt connector will attach to the green wire on the black convoluted tubing side of green wire. This is the wire that leads to the back of the vehicle.
Please let me know if customer is successful or not.
