How to Tow Fifth Wheel Trailer with 2015 Ram 2500 that has Rambox and Factory Rail Kit

Need recommendations for a 5th wheel hitch on a 2015 Ram 2500 Megacab with ramboxes. I have 4 factory OEM pucks for 5th wheel. No gooseneck puck.

You have the very elusive Ram truck that has the factory rail kit and the Ramboxes which is more difficult than usual to tow a fifth wheel trailer with due to the width of the Ramboxes but there is a way.

You'll have to use a fixed hitch designed for the rail kit of your truck like the B and W Companion # BWRVK3600 but then you'll have to use a Sidewinder installed on the trailer to allow you the clearance to allow the trailer to pivot over the bed rails without interference.

You will need to remove the pin box of the trailer and replace it with a Sidewinder pin box. Sidewinders are pin box specific so you will first need to know what pin box you have now in order to pick out the correct one.

There should be a sticker or a stamping on the OEM pin box of the trailer that will list the pin box number that is on the trailer.

Once you figure out which pin box you have you can check the FAQ I attached that has a chart that shows the correct Sidewinder to get based on which pin box you have.
