Jumper Wire Recommendation for Connecting Vehicle Battery to Winch with Quick Disconnects
Question:
I’m buying a 4000 pound winch that will not be permanently mounted to my truck 2018 F350 diesel and I’m wondering if I could power the winch via a jumper cable. I want to use a jumper cable that has a quick connect on one end so I can connect it to the winch. Thanks

The Bulldog Winch Booster Cable Set w/ Power Leads # BDW20197 that you referenced would easily work for what you are wanting to do. It is rated for 2,000 amps which would be more than enough for your 4,000 lb winch. Basically this would attach to your battery and then when needed you'd connect the quick disconnects and then attach the connectors to the winch.
