Air Bag Fit for 2008 Ford F-250 2WD with Fifth Wheel Hitch
Question:
Firestone Ride Rite F2597 - I read a bunch of reviews but need some confirmation on fitment. I have an 08 F250 with fifth wheel hitch, 2wd, diesel, single cab, long bed 8ft. Is this the right kit? Do i still need the relocation brackets? I could only find info on 6.5ft beds.

There are air Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs that work great with your 2008 Ford F-250 but the Firestone Ride Rite # F2597 are not a fit for your truck.
Instead you will need the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2550; I checked with Firestone and these will work on your 2008 Ford F-250 2WD with a fifth wheel hitch and diesel engine. Relocation brackets are not needed for these air helper springs and they will work with either a 6-1/2 foot bed or 8 foot bed like yours. I have attached a link to a video of these springs being installed on an '08 F-250 for you to take a look at.
I also strongly recommend installing the Firestone Air Command I Compressor # F2158 with the helper springs because it allows you to adjust the air pressure in the air bag from the comfort of your truck's cab as opposed to having to potentially brave a chilling cold or sweltering heat. I have added a link to an install video of this compressor for you to check out as well.
