Tight driveway, could barely do it with my 6.5 bed super cab Now I have a dual cab 8 foot bed. With the longer wheel base. Would this help?

Using a Sidewinder pin box like part # RP61412 could potentially help your situation as it will move your pivot point back 22". The thing that you do need to keep in mind is that when you reconnect to your trailer it needs to be head-on so that the Sidewinder can connect properly. If you have to couple up to your trailer at an angle then you will need to go with a different option.
Please note that this Sidewinder is a replacement for the following pin boxes:
Fabex 500, 520, 560, 765
Lippert 1116, 1716 and 0115
RBW 7019 and 7028
We do have the autosliding 5th wheel Demco Hijacker # DM8550034 which is rated for 18K and can move your pivot point back up to 14" when at a 90 degree angle. In this scenario you can uncouple and the hitch head stays where it is at until the next time that you couple back up to your trailer. This would allow you to park at an angle and still be able to couple back up to your trailer.
