Compatibility of Ladder Rack with Gator SR1 Tonneau Cover

Question:

I have a Gator SR1 roll up tonneau cover that mounts on top of the bed rails. Are there any options out there for ladders racks or cross bars that will work with a bed rail mounted tonneau cover?

Because your Gator SR1 tonneau cover mounts on top of the bed rails, there is not a ladder rack that is directly compatible. Based on you looking at the # A70480, I assume you have a 2010- present Ram with 6-1/2 foot bed. The closest option if you can get to your stake pockets is the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Aluminum - 500 lbs # A4000956. This rack uses the stake pockets for mounting and will be the widest mount with straight upright bars to give you the best access to the tonneau rail to secure your cover. Although there isn't a direct fit, if you use some shims on your tonneau you can make your cover and this rack work together with only minor customization required.
