How Many Bikes Can be Used on the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk CC-275

Question:

Im interested in purchasing this rack, but I need to carry 3 bikes. From what I read, I think this is only intended to carry 2 bikes. I have a 2013 Ford F150 and 2016 Coachmen Apex 259BHSS. Any other products that you would recommend? I want to avoid carrying the bikes on the back of the trailer bumper since Ive heard stories of the bumper bending and losing bikes. I also think it might be ackward to have the bikes on the front of the truck.

The Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier part # CC-275 will allow for you to carry as many bikes as you please so long as the weight of them plus that of the carrier does not exceed 100 lbs. There is no limit to the number of bikes that can be used. However, the bike carrier must be rated for use on a trailer so that is something to keep in mind as well. For a lightweight bike carrier that can be used on a trailer, I recommend the Swagman Original part # S64152-2 which weighs around 25 lbs. Therefore, you will have 75 lbs left for your three bikes.
