How to Get More Clearance Between Tailgate and Jack When Folded with Weight Distribution System
Question:
we have a 2019 Tundra towing a 2018 Rockwood Mini Lite. The tail gate hits the power Jack. we need about 1 to 2 inches more clearance. we also use a stabilizer bar system/hitch. You had a similar question and recommended a longer ball hitch but extensions weve found are only rated for 400 pounds. Any other suggestions?

Sounds like you are using a weight distribution system so all you'd want then is a longer WD shank to give you the clearance you are after. The Curt weight distribution shank part # C17122 is 14 inches from the center of it's hitch pin hole to the center of the adjustment holes. This should be quite a bit longer than what you currently have and this shank fits basically all brands of weight distribution heads too.
