Wiring B&W Custom Headache Rack # BWPUCP7502WA to Bypass Factory Wiring on 2017 Ford F-350

Question:

On the 2017 F350 where is the place to hook the headache rack lights up to make the dashboard lights go out. It’s thinking i have a trailer hooked up? I haven’t found nothing on the passenger side to put this splitter on to bypass what you were telling the other guy about. Thanks

I spoke with my contact at B&W regarding the wiring for the Custom Headache Rack # BWPUCP7502WA on your 2017 Ford F-350. He did say that the best way to bypass the factory 7-Way wiring (to avoid the dashboard messages) is to use the factory wiring on the passenger side of the truck.

He said that this harness should be located in the same spot as the 7-Way plug, but simply on the passenger side instead. You will need to trace the wiring on the frame rail further back toward the tailgate/hitch to locate where it splits behind the bumper.

Please let me know if you still cannot locate the wiring to tap into and I will be happy to look into this further.
