Troubleshooting Sway Control Issue with Fastway e2 System
Question:
I have a Trunion E2 hitch on a 26 ft 4900 dry weight travel trailer. It seems to me this hitch I should not need a sway control bar, but I feel what seems like a significant amount of sway. Are there adjustments I can make or do you have a secondary sway control bar you recommend to go with this hitch?

The Fastway e2 system you have should not need any additional sway control and won't work with any additional bars. The biggest issue when you experience sway with a system like the # FA92-00-1000 is either an underrated system or a poorly adjusted system. An underrated system doesn't account for the total tongue weight which includes the loaded trailer tongue weight as well as any additional cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I've attached the installation instructions to help with adjustment and have also linked an article to assist. You want to make sure your system accounts for total tongue weight and not simply the trailer tongue weight or trailer gvwr.
If that all checks out, then I recommend adding an electric sway control system like the Curt Electronic Sway Control System # C94VV. This system will use your electric brakes to address the sway issues.
