The weight capacity of a trailer is always going to be limited by its weakest component. The weakest component on a trailer is generally the tires followed by the axle so if you were to upgrade these two components then in theory you will have a higher weight capacity.

For a new wheel/tire, I recommend the Kenda 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" White Wheel part # AM30859. This tire comes with a load range D rating which is suitable for use up to 1,250 lbs per side and comes with a two year warranty. The overall dimensions are 21.9" diameter x 5.5" wide so you will need to make sure you have room for this new size.

For a new axle, I recommend the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System part # A20RS545. I like this system because it can be installed on virtually any trailer. It has a torsion suspension which will work to absorb road shock and support the trailer's load better than a leaf spring suspension system. It also comes with new idler hubs as well.

I have attached review videos for you.
