Solution to Prevent Mud From Getting on Ford F-350 with Oversized Tires

2017 Ford F350 super duty single rear axel trim kit Does this trim extend out from the fender? I need something for the mud that is slung up on the side of the truck. My wheels are outside the truck fender by about 1 inch

I spoke with my contact at Putco and she said that the Stainless Steel Chrome Fender Trim # P97280 that you referenced won't actually extend out from the fender. This is the case with all of their custom trim pieces.

To help prevent mud from getting slung up on the side of your F-350 I recommend taking a look at set of mud flaps that are large enough to accommodate your larger tires. Something like the Access Rockstar 2XL Custom Mud Flaps # A10100812 will work well on the rear of your truck (as long as you have a hitch and don't have add-on fender flares) and their 42 inch width will do a great job of protecting your truck and nearby vehicles.
