Is Brake Lite Relay Needed with SMI DUO Installed on 2014 Honda CR-V
Question:
I have installed diodes in the taillights with my tow bar wiring. Do I need to install the diodes that came with the stay-in-play braking system also

Sounds like you are asking if the Brake Lite Relay part # RM-88400 is needed with the SMI DUO part # SM99251 installed on your 2014 Honda CR-V that has a diode tow bar lighting kit. That answer to that is yes, you will need it. I attached an install video for the relay on a 2014 CR-V just like yours for you to check out as well.
